Alan Hanna is a Reader in Finance at Queen’s University Belfast. Having previously worked in financial technology roles, his research interests include the application of algorithms and computational techniques to problems in finance and related fields. Recent projects include applying text analytics to a digitised archive of Financial Times articles and topic analysis of historical patents.
