Benjamin Moll is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. He is a macroeconomist interested in understanding how the enormous heterogeneity observed at the micro level, and in particular the large disparities in income and wealth, impact the macro economy and macroeconomic policy. Moll’s work approaches these questions with a mix of theory and empirics. His current work studies the macroeconomic and distributional consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as those of monetary and fiscal policy more generally.
