Alexandra’s general research addresses topics on social exclusion and pro-social behaviour. Using economic experiments, she mainly studies group dynamics in social dilemma situations focusing on social exclusion as a form of punishment and its effects on individual behaviour.

Vimal Balasubramaniam is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the School of Economics and Finance, Queen Mary University of London. His main areas of research interest are household finance, behavioural finance and empirical asset pricing. He has a BA in Economics from University of Madras, a Masters in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore, and a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford.

His research interests lie at the intersection of law, development, and health economics. He has published on the effects of crime on development, women´s empowerment, and mental health. He has served as an external consultant for the Mexican Stock Exchange, the World Bank and Mexico´s Government Accountability Office.
