Gabriel Ulyssea is an associate professor in the economics department at UCL and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He is also a Research Fellow at IZA and a Research Affiliate at CEPR. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and his main research interests include economic development and labor economics. His current, non-covid related work focuses on informality, the labor market effects of labor regulation and trade and the role of firms in economic development.
