José Antonio Miranda is a Professor of Economic History at the University of Alicante (Spain). He has been a visiting researcher at the University of York (UK), the University of Padua and the University of Bari ‘Aldo Moro’ (Italy). He specialises in Business History and in the industrial development of Southern European countries. His main current research interests focus on the evolution of fashion industries, industrial resilience and industrial districts. He has published extensively on these topics.
