Kenneth Gibb is a professor in economics at the University of Glasgow where he directs the ESRC UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE). Ken’s research interests are in the economics, finance and public policy analysis of housing. He is a former managing editor of Urban Studies and is currently associate editor of Housing, Theory and Society. Within CaCHE, he has led projects on housing wealth inequalities, tenement retrofitting, rent controls, the impact of housing associations, housing and systems-thinking and work on investment appraisal and housing, and on funding and delivering housing interventions.
