Francis Kennedy
Francis Kennedy worked for 25 years in debt capital markets in the City of London, before completing an MSc and PhD in economic history at the London School of Economics. Most recently, he has worked for Queen’s University, Belfast on an ESRC grant-funded project, The Sterling Area Revisited. De Bromhead et al, 2022 is a recent output from this study.

Seán Kenny
Dr. Seán Kenny is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics in University College Cork, Ireland and is a research affiliate of Lund University, Sweden and Queen’s University, Belfast. His research focuses primarily on macroeconomic history, with particular focus on financial crises, public debt, political economy and productivity. He is the Principal Investigator on the project External Shocks and Fiscal Sustainability.
