Benedict is an Economics PhD student at Chicago Booth. His research focuses on household finances – typically using a combination of big data and behavioural economics to understand consumer behaviour. Before moving to Chicago he previously spent 6+ years conducting economic research to inform financial regulation at the Financial Conduct Authority, Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Bank of England.
