Ciaran O’Neill has held faculty positions at Queen’s, the University of Nottingham, Ulster University, and NUI Galway where he was Dean of the College of Business Economics and Law before taking up his current post as Professor of Health Economics in the Centre for Public Health. He is a former Harkness Fellow, hosted by the Rand Corporation (USA) and current Chair of the Health Economics Association of Ireland. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles as well as various reports using economic analysis to better understand issues in health and healthcare.
