Roger Kelly is the Lead Regional Economist covering Türkiye and Russia in the Policy, Strategy and Delivery Department of the EBRD. Prior to taking up this role, he spent 15 years working as a Senior Banker and Economist at the European Investment Bank. He has also worked as an Economist and Adviser to the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England. He has a PhD from the Global Development Institute, University of Manchester and is an Academic Visitor at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford.
