Danny McGowan is a Professor of Finance at the University of Birmingham. His research interests lie in applied microeconomics with focus on banking and financial intermediation. Danny’s work has been published in prestigious international journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Finance. His research has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, the Leverhulme Trust, and the British Academy.
