
Xiaoyang Long is an associate professor in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the Wisconsin School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and also holds a B.A. in Physics from Princeton University. Xiaoyang’s research focuses on sustainable supply chains and the role of human behavior in firm operations. Her recent projects investigate how customer behaviour interacts with new business models (e.g., fast fashion, e-commerce) to inform firms’ supply chain and sustainability policies.
