Gbenga is a Professor of Finance with a research focus on financial market microstructure. He directs the Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovations and the NatWest Group Centre for Purpose-driven Innovation in Banking. He is a Fellow at Sydney’s RoZetta Institute and a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Future of Resilient Financial Systems. He is published in leading academic journals, and featured in the media, e.g., New York Times, Economist, and Financial Times.
